CHQ is delighted to hear belatedly that, today is the 98th birthday of com.Sisir Bhattacharji, the veteran leader of the P&The trade union movement. Com.Sisir is one of the architects of the P&The trade union movement, who has worked shoulder to shoulder with most of the pioneers of the P&T trade union movement, including com.K.G.Bose, com.N.J.Iyer, com.Adhinarayana and com.O.P.Gupta. A symbol of selflessness and sacrifice, com.Sisir is still in the thick of movement. The BSNLEU leaders of Bengal visited com.Sisir Bhattacharji today and have greeted him. BSNLEU wishes good health to the veteran leader.
